Part 27: "Mere Discipleship and Ambition"

Mark 10:32-45
After his third prediction of suffering, death and resurrection, Jesus teaches his disciples what it means to follow him. Jesus requires all of his followers to examine their motives and ambitions.

Like the disciples, we have desires for rank, placement, and self-importance which are incompatible with the way and mission of Jesus Christ. It is important to ask ourselves: What heart alterations does Jesus require of those who have believed in him as their Savior and Lord?
