In the 1963 version of the Milton Bradley board game LIFE, the object is to reach "The Day of Reckoning" with the most money, become a Millionaire Tycoon, and move into Millionaire Acres.

The writer of the Biblical book Ecclesiastes might relate to the board game version of LIFE. He writes that he has toiled at many strategies to win in life and has succeeded. He can easily retire to "Millionaire Acres" as a tycoon. But as this writer comes to the end of his game and reflects on the object of life, he is depressed to find a lack of real meaning and purpose for all his labor.

Every game has a designer who writes instructions on how to set up, play, and win the game. What has the Designer of our lives revealed to us as the object of the game?
