It has been thought that with the advance of science and technology people would have less and less need for God. If the need for God comes from a primitive sense of helplessness, that need would diminish as science explained how we can help ourselves. However, the opposite is true. People still search for the Transcendent, somehow knowing within themselves that there is something beyond and higher than ourselves.

Can we find the One who is Transcendent? Can we meet Him face to face?
